Foaming of precursor of porous aluminum consisting of dissimilar aluminum alloys by frictional heating during friction stir processing

چکیده

In our previous study, a precursor of porous aluminum consisting uniform alloy was foamed by frictional heating during friction stir processing. It found that the temperature at tool gradually increased as traversed owing to heat stored in steel plate. this welding lower-foaming-temperature ADC12 (Al-Si-Cu) and higher-foaming-temperature A6061 (Al-MgSi) processing shown placing first-half region traversal latter half, can be sufficiently foamed, obtained up speed 20 mm/min.
